Logan Hill is a folk musician, teacher, and songwriter who currently resides in Redding, California. Originally from Wimberley, Texas, he developed a passion for writing music in college that is both raw, personal and hope-infused. He writes with an honesty that has become an open reflection of the spiritual journey he began in 2007 at Sam Houston State University, the same year he discovered a love for songwriting and music performance. Now, ten years later, he has released his debut studio album titled “A Sea Divided.” The album encompasses a diversity of musical sounds, including the organic timbre of folk, the spiritual depth of gospel, and the sweeping string arrangements of orchestral.
In January 2018, Logan received his teaching credential in Secondary English through Simpson University in Redding, California. He has been teaching guitar and tutoring in multiple subjects for over five years. He also serves the local church in various outreach and worship capacities. Ultimately, his heart is to teach literature and music, write music for the church and film, and equip the next generation of creatives to thrive in both excellence and integrity.
